Maedon’s sound is dark, heavy and exciting, a unique hybrid of industrial techno and EBM with a touch of rave. She is driven by a fierce, relentless passion for the music.

A wizard in the studio, Maedon is known for her all-gear live sets, which are must-see events where dance floors become mesmerized by the collage of irresistible electronics and pounding grooves. Her background was in the industrial scene, and these influences are absorbed into her sound.

The mysterious Berlin-based Maedon is one of the newer additions to the Sonic Groove family. She has already delivered two hard-hitting EPs for the imprint, 2020’s SGD release “Escape to Berlin”, and 2019’s 12 inch EP “Against His Will” This year Sonic Groove will unveil Maedon’s latest work on the LP “Now I AM Become Death”, which will be her first full length foray.

Getting her start in the rough and tough streets of Baltimore, Maedon’s first recording was released as ‘pulsewidthmod’, delivering a more techno flavored EP for the acclaimed label Detroit Underground. She followed the urban pathway into Brooklyn, continuing to develop her sound and technique until she decided to relocate to Berlin in March of 2020.

Since her arrival in Europe, she has settled in smoothly, with a flurry of releases that include an EP for the Belgium label Deviate, and also some remix work, appearing on Berlin labels Aufnahme + Wiedergabe, Dream Baby Dream and the Brooklyn boutique label Synthicide.
